We’ve been at this for over 30 years, family-owned and family-operated. That’s how you know it’s good. But don’t take it from us. Check out our reviews!

I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who enjoys horses and exploring authentic regions of Mexico. The people were very kind and professional and all the horses were healthy and happy - well cared for. Our guide, Thomas, was a very talented rider and a true joy to ride with! I will definitely be back! :) Tina Campbell2025-02-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Three of us took the Wild Tour and we had a wonderful, fun time! It’s suggested on the site that it’s for experienced riders and that’s true. The terrain is very rugged and challenging. Just what we were looking for! Raphael was our guide and he was a blast, knowledgeable and very personable. I hope to do it again. Our horses were responsive and lovely to ride. Thanks to Sebastian and the entire crew! Great trail through jungle and Riverside. Thomas was an excellent guide. Will do it again! eric balaban2025-02-24Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great time with some friendly people. We did not expect to spend time at a restaurant hidden within an ecological park as a break mid-way through the trip, but we had a lovely snack and drinks in the jungle! I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in something fun to do while in PV. Nancy Nevill-Dunn2025-02-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful experience. I had the best horseback riding experience of my life! The views of the Puerto Vallarta skyline are amazing as the mountain and river areas. Playa Grande Ecopark will definitely be a place I will return to visit. I will revise this tour on my next visit. C M2025-02-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our family of six just completed our fourth all day horse ride. We will keep coming back. Out you hear was 5 years old the first time and fell in love with riding here. Their horses are so well kept, exceeding any standard we are used to in Canada or the US. The guide Thomas has been doing this for twenty years and took such good care of everyone. The riding itself was amazing and all the positive reviews from others are true. This is a family run operation and you can see the pride taken in their animals and tour operation. Wow. Chris Havelka2025-02-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic ride along beautiful rio Pitallal into the forest with a refreshing stop at a restaurant. While on the trail, we were well cared for by Tomas. There was a fair amount of trotting which kept the ride fun and interesting. The cherry on the top was the ride to the look-out. What an amazing view! Highly recommend Rancho el Charro and hope to come again. Deborah Rohe2025-02-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A group of 4 went on the 5 hour Wild Tour with Thomas… he was a wonderful guide and the tour was beautiful! We rode up the mountain for over an hour and were treated with amazing views of Puerto Vallarta Bay. The ride down was pretty precarious… lots of narrow, steep trails but breathtaking. Certainly not a tour for the inexperienced rider or the faint of heart. We reached the river and rode along and through the river reaching a cute little restaurant/bar and had a little rest and refreshment. Then we rode back along the river and the horses were ready to gallop… so much fun! Highly recommended for riders with experience and an adventurous spirit!!Load more
