So much more than expected! Raphael was great! He even helped me brush up on some extra Spanish! He was so friendly and showed us some amazing things we might have missed! Wild parakeets, super yummy wild mandarin oranges, small coconuts used for oil, hummingbird nests, gum tree, and of course a nice spot for a cold drink!
Sweet, well trained horses with personality!
We’ll be back as often as possible!

If I could give this place a million stars, I would! From start to finish, it was an incredible experience, our guide was great, knowledgeable, funny, friendly, engaging, confident…you get it! This was our second time here and we’ll be back!
It’s not just sitting on a horse and plodding down the beach, we climbed up a mountain filled with gorgeous plants and colorful butterflies and even wild parakeets! Crossed rivers, trotted, cantered, and hiked up AND down steep rocky terrain. A true adventure!

Our ride was fantastic, catered to the experience of the riders in our group. Raphael was an excellent guide - very patient and took the time to show us different types of trees and plants we passed by, and the more experienced riders in our group were able to ride to their levels. Would absolutely recommend Rancho El Charro and Raphael to anyone!
